How pixels convert to inches
Pixels are a resolution-dependent unit, so converting them to a physical measurement like inches requires knowing the resolution, expressed in dots per inch (DPI) or pixels per inch (PPI). The formula is simple: inches = pixels ÷ DPI, and conversely pixels = inches × DPI.
