Diet Risk Score Calculator
Get a simple, general wellness-style score based on common dietary habits linked to long-term health outcomes.
How the score is calculated
This calculator starts from a neutral baseline score of 50 and adjusts it based on common dietary patterns associated with general long-term health: it adds points for more fruit, vegetable, and whole grain servings, and subtracts points for more frequent processed or fast food meals, sugary drinks, and red or processed meat, capping the final score between 0 and 100.
What the score means
A higher score generally reflects a dietary pattern more in line with widely recommended eating habits (more plants and whole grains, less processed food and added sugar), while a lower score suggests there may be room to shift toward those patterns. This is a simplified educational scoring model, not a validated clinical risk assessment.
