How speed listening saves time
Playing an audiobook faster than normal (1x) speed shortens the actual time you spend listening while covering the same content. At 1.5x speed, for example, a 10-hour audiobook takes about 6 hours and 40 minutes to finish.
How this calculator works
The calculator divides your audiobook’s normal-speed length by your chosen playback speed to find your actual listening time, then subtracts that from the original length to show time saved. It multiplies this by how many audiobooks you listen to per month to project your monthly and yearly time savings.
