How Unit Price Comparison Works
Unit price is simply the total price divided by the quantity, giving you the cost per single unit (per ounce, per sheet, per item, etc.) so you can fairly compare products sold in different package sizes.
This calculator divides each product’s price by its quantity to get two unit prices, then tells you which one is cheaper per unit and how much you’d save percentage-wise by choosing it.
Make sure both quantities use the same unit of measurement (e.g., both in ounces, or both in count) for the comparison to be meaningful.
