Underline Text Generator
Pick up to eight characters to generate underlined text using Unicode combining marks, ready to copy and paste into bios, captions, or messages.
How Unicode underlined text works
This tool creates underlined text using a Unicode combining low line character (U+0332), which attaches an underline mark to the character right before it. Because the underline is part of the character sequence itself, the result works in places that don’t support rich text formatting, such as social media bios, usernames, and plain-text messages.
How this tool works
Select each character of your text from the dropdowns above. The tool inserts a combining underline mark immediately after every character you choose, then shows the resulting underlined text alongside your original input so you can copy the version you need.
Rendering of combining marks can vary slightly between fonts, apps, and operating systems, and very long runs of underlined text may look uneven on some platforms.
