What this calculator does
The Audiobook Speed Calculator tells you how long it will actually take to finish an audiobook when you listen at a faster (or slower) playback speed than normal.
How the calculation works
The book’s normal-speed length is converted to total minutes, then divided by your chosen playback speed multiplier. For example, a 10-hour book played at 1.5x takes roughly 6 hours and 40 minutes to finish. The calculator also shows how much listening time you save compared to normal speed.
This tool is for general planning purposes to help you estimate how audiobooks fit into your schedule.
