Numbers to Letters Converter
Enter up to eight numbers from 1 to 26 to convert each one into its matching letter (1=A, 2=B, … 26=Z), using the standard A1Z26 code.
What this calculator does
This is the reverse of the classic A1Z26 code: it converts numbers back into letters, where 1 becomes A, 2 becomes B, and so on up through 26 as Z.
How the calculation works
Each valid number from 1 to 26 is converted to a letter using its character code offset from ‘A’ (letter = character code 64 + the number). Numbers outside the 1-26 range are ignored since they don’t correspond to a letter of the alphabet.
This is a simple educational substitution code, not a secure form of encryption.
