A simple self-reflection tool
This calculator is inspired by positive psychology research showing that subjective wellbeing tends to draw from a handful of consistent life domains: social connection, health, financial security, sense of purpose, and gratitude or present-moment contentment. Rating each area and averaging them gives a rough, easy-to-track self-reflection score.
How the score is calculated
Your score is simply the average of your five ratings (each from 1-10), converted to a 0-100 scale. It is not a validated psychological instrument, but a lightweight way to notice which areas of life feel strongest or could use more attention right now.
- Score = average of the five ratings × 10
- 80-100: Thriving, 60-79: Doing Well, 40-59: Moderate, below 40: Room to Grow
This tool is for general self-reflection and educational purposes only. It is not a clinical wellbeing or mental health assessment; if you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional or a support line in your area.
