How the calculation works
Each subject’s grade is multiplied by its number of units (credits) to get that subject’s weighted score. All weighted scores are added together and divided by the total number of units across all subjects: GWA = sum(grade × units) / sum(units). This gives more influence to subjects with heavier unit loads than a simple unweighted average would. Leave a subject’s units at 0 to exclude it from the calculation.
