What is eDPI?
Effective DPI (eDPI) is a single number that lets you compare mouse sensitivity fairly across different games and mice, since it accounts for both your hardware DPI setting and your in-game sensitivity multiplier. The formula is simply eDPI = Mouse DPI × In-Game Sensitivity.
Many competitive players use eDPI to keep the same feel when switching games, since a game’s raw sensitivity slider means little on its own without knowing the DPI it’s paired with.
