What this calculator does

This tool converts an angle between the four most common angle units: degrees, radians, gradians, and turns (full revolutions).

How the calculation works

The calculator first converts your input to degrees, using the fact that a full circle is 360 degrees, 2π radians, 400 gradians, or 1 turn. From degrees, it then derives radians (degrees x π/180), gradians (degrees / 0.9), and turns (degrees / 360).

This tool is intended for general math, engineering, and educational reference.
