🏏 Batting Strike Rate Calculator
Enter runs scored and balls faced to calculate a batter’s strike rate.
What this calculator does
Batting strike rate measures how quickly a cricket batter scores runs relative to the number of balls they face. It’s a key indicator of scoring tempo, especially in limited-overs formats like ODIs and T20s.
How the calculation works
The formula is Strike Rate = (Runs Scored / Balls Faced) x 100. A strike rate of 100 means the batter scores, on average, one run per ball faced. In T20 cricket, strike rates above 130-140 are generally considered strong, while in Test cricket a strike rate around 50-60 is often perfectly acceptable given the format’s emphasis on occupying the crease.
