What baby growth percentiles mean
A growth percentile compares your baby’s weight, length, and head circumference to other babies of the same age and sex. For example, a weight percentile of 60 means your baby weighs more than roughly 60% of babies that age. Percentiles are a way of tracking a pattern over time, not a pass-or-fail grade.
