How this calculator works
This tool compares the amount of a vitamin or mineral you enter to the standard adult Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) published for that nutrient by sex, then calculates what percentage of the RDA your intake represents: Percent of RDA = (Your Intake / RDA) x 100.
About the reference values
The RDAs used here are general adult (ages 19+) figures for men and women, such as 90 mg of Vitamin C for men and 75 mg for women, or 18 mg of iron for women versus 8 mg for men. Needs can differ for pregnancy, breastfeeding, older adults, and certain health conditions, and are not reflected in this simplified version.
This calculator is for general nutrition education only and is not personalized medical or dietary advice. Consult a registered dietitian or healthcare provider before making significant changes to your supplement or nutrient intake.
