DRI Calculator (Dietary Reference Intake)
Estimate your Dietary Reference Intake (DRI) for daily calories and macronutrients based on your age, sex, weight, height, and activity level.
What DRI means
Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI) are a set of nutrient reference values developed by the U.S. National Academy of Medicine, including Estimated Energy Requirements (EER), Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA), and Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Ranges (AMDR) for protein, fat, and carbohydrates.
How this calculator works
The calculator estimates your basal metabolic rate with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, multiplies it by an activity factor to approximate your daily energy needs, then applies the standard AMDR percentages (10-35% protein via 0.8g/kg RDA, 20-35% fat, 45-65% carbohydrate) to show gram ranges for each macronutrient.
