The most common quick estimate uses your arm span, measured fingertip to fingertip with your arms held straight out to your sides. The standard archery industry formula divides your arm span by 2.5 to get an estimated draw length in inches. This is the same rule of thumb used by most bow shops and manufacturers as a starting point.
