What SUVAT is

SUVAT refers to the five variables used in the kinematic equations for motion with constant acceleration: displacement (s), initial velocity (u), final velocity (v), acceleration (a), and time (t). Knowing any three lets you solve for the other two.

The formulas used

This calculator takes initial velocity (u), acceleration (a), and time (t), and computes final velocity using v = u + at, and displacement using s = ut + ½at².

These equations assume constant (uniform) acceleration along a straight line; they do not apply to motion where acceleration changes over time. For general physics education purposes.
