💳 PayPal Fee Calculator
Estimate how much PayPal will take from a payment and what you will actually receive, based on common published PayPal fee rates.
How PayPal fees work
PayPal charges a percentage of each transaction plus a small fixed fee, and the exact rate depends on the type of payment: domestic goods and services, international payments, invoices, small “micropayments,” or personal Friends & Family transfers. This calculator uses commonly published standard PayPal rates as of 2026 for U.S. accounts.
The formula
Fee = (Amount × Rate%) + Fixed Fee, and Net Payout = Amount − Fee. The calculator also shows how much you would need to charge a customer so that, after PayPal’s fee is deducted, you still net your target amount.
PayPal’s actual fees vary by country, currency, account type, and any negotiated merchant rates, and they change from time to time. Always confirm the exact current rate on your PayPal account before relying on it for pricing or bookkeeping; this tool is for general estimation only.
