🖥 Leet-speak Translator

Pick each letter of a word (up to 10 letters) to see its classic leet-speak (1337) translation.

What leet-speak is

Leet-speak (also written “1337”), is an informal internet writing style that replaces ordinary letters with numbers, symbols, or symbol combinations that visually resemble them — for example, E becomes 3, A becomes 4, and S becomes 5.

How the calculation works

Select each letter of the word you want to translate, one dropdown per letter position (leave unused positions blank). The calculator looks up the classic leet-speak substitute for each selected letter and joins them together to show the translated word alongside your original word.

This tool is provided for general recreational, internet-culture, and educational word-play purposes only.
