What counts as a business day
A business day is any weekday, Monday through Friday. This calculator counts the weekdays between your chosen start and end dates, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
How it works
Enter a start date and an end date. The calculator steps through each calendar day between them and tags each one as either a weekday or a weekend day, then totals the weekdays. If your end date falls before your start date, the two are automatically swapped so the count still works.
This tool counts weekends only. It does not account for public holidays, company-specific closures, or regional observances, so adjust the result if your date range includes any of those.
