How donation eligibility timing works
Blood donation centers require a minimum waiting period between donations so your body has time to replenish what was given. The required interval depends on the type of donation: whole blood typically requires 56 days, double red cell (power red) donations require about 112 days, platelet donations require as little as 7 days, and plasma donations typically require 28 days.

Select the type of donation you made and enter how many days have passed since then. The calculator subtracts that from the standard minimum interval to estimate how many days remain before you’re eligible to donate again, along with what percentage of the waiting period you’ve completed.
