🩸 Blood Donation Due Date Calculator
Enter your donation type and how many days ago you last donated to see how many days remain until you’re eligible again.
Standard donation waiting periods
Blood donation organizations enforce minimum waiting periods between donations so your body has enough time to replenish the cells or components collected. These minimums differ by donation type, since different components regenerate at different rates.
How this is calculated
Days Remaining = Required Waiting Period − Days Since Your Last Donation, with a result of zero meaning you are already eligible. Commonly used minimum waits are 56 days for whole blood, 112 days for double red cell (Power Red) donation, 28 days for plasma, and just 7 days between platelet donations.
- Whole blood: 56 days
- Double red cells: 112 days
- Plasma: 28 days
- Platelets: 7 days
