How this calculator works
This tool subtracts one time duration from another — for example, removing lunch breaks from a total workday, or finding how much runway is left after subtracting elapsed time from a countdown.
Enter both durations in hours, minutes, and seconds. The calculator converts each to total seconds, subtracts Duration B from Duration A, and converts the result back into hours, minutes, and seconds, flagging the result as negative if Duration B is larger than Duration A.
This is a straightforward arithmetic tool for general scheduling and time tracking use.
