What is resonant frequency?

In an LC circuit made of an inductor (L) and a capacitor (C), energy oscillates back and forth between the inductor’s magnetic field and the capacitor’s electric field. The resonant frequency is the natural rate at which this oscillation occurs, and it is the frequency at which the circuit’s impedance is at a minimum (series) or maximum (parallel).

The formula
