What this calculator does
Superscript characters sit slightly above and smaller than normal text, used for exponents (x²), ordinal markers, and footnote references. This generator produces genuine Unicode superscript characters, not a font style, so they display consistently in plain text everywhere.
How it works
Pick digits and letters from the dropdowns. Digits 0–9 and the symbols + − = ( ) all have official Unicode superscript forms. Most lowercase letters also have official or widely supported superscript forms in the Unicode Phonetic Extensions blocks.
The letter q has no standard superscript character and is left unchanged, and there is no dedicated uppercase superscript alphabet, so all letters use their lowercase mapping.
