Theoretical Propeller Pitch Speed

A propeller’s pitch is the theoretical forward distance it would travel in one revolution if it moved through a solid like a screw through wood, with zero slip. The theoretical (100% efficient) speed is Speed (mph) = (Pitch in inches × RPM) ÷ 1056, where 1056 converts inches per minute into miles per hour.
