What this calculator does

This tool handles three common minute-based time calculations: adding minutes to a starting time, subtracting minutes from a starting time, or finding the total number of minutes between two times of day.

How it works

Choose your calculation mode, enter the relevant time(s) in 24-hour hour/minute fields, and the calculator does the modular arithmetic for you, wrapping correctly across midnight when needed and converting back to a familiar 12-hour clock display where relevant.

This tool assumes both times fall within a single day cycle unless a day rollover is noted, and does not account for time zones or daylight saving transitions.
