How it works
Enter your goal amount, how much you’ve already saved, how many months you have until you need the money, and an expected annual return on your savings (use 0% for a plain savings account with no growth assumption). The calculator uses a standard savings annuity formula to determine the fixed monthly contribution needed so that your current savings plus new contributions, growing at the assumed rate, reach your goal by the target date.
