This calculator finds the final price of an item after a percentage discount is applied, along with the total dollar amount you save.
The Formula
Savings = Original Price × (Discount Percentage ÷ 100). Final Price = Original Price – Savings. For example, a $80 item with a 25% discount saves $20, for a final price of $60.
