What angular displacement measures

Angular displacement is the total angle through which an object rotates about an axis, measured in radians or degrees. It is the rotational analog of linear displacement.

The formula used

This calculator uses θ = ω0·t + ½α·t², where ω0 is the initial angular velocity, α is the angular acceleration, and t is elapsed time — the rotational equivalent of the linear equation s = ut + ½at². The result is also converted to degrees for convenience.

This assumes constant angular acceleration over the time interval. For general physics education purposes.
