About the Air Force fitness assessment
The Air Force physical fitness assessment scores component exercises — typically a 1.5 mile run (or an alternate cardio option), push-ups, sit-ups, and a body composition measure such as abdominal circumference — and combines them into a single composite score out of 100 points.
How this calculator works
Enter the point value you received (or expect) for each component, based on the official age and sex-adjusted standards tables, and this calculator adds them together for your total composite score. A composite score of 75 or higher is generally required to achieve a passing ‘satisfactory’ rating, with 90 and above generally rated excellent.
This is a simple addition tool for planning and educational purposes; always confirm exact component point values against the current official Air Force fitness standards tables, which vary by age and sex.
