What the AFT measures

The Army Fitness Test (AFT) replaced the ACFT as the Army’s combat-focused fitness assessment. It scores soldiers on six events: the 3-repetition maximum deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, plank hold, and a 2-mile run, each scored from 0-100 points against age- and sex-normalized standards for a maximum of 600 points.

How this calculator works

Enter your raw result for each event. The calculator applies simplified linear scoring bands modeled on published Army standards to estimate a 0-100 score per event and sums them for an approximate total. A minimum of 60 points per event is generally required to pass.

This is an educational estimate only, not an official Army score. Actual AFT scoring tables vary by age bracket and are published by the Army; always consult your unit’s official scorecards for record scores.
