A fictional outbreak model, for fun
This calculator is a lighthearted “what if” simulator, not a real epidemiological forecasting tool. It applies a simple logistic growth model, the same basic shape used in real disease-spread math, to a fictional zombie scenario for entertainment.
How the simulation works
Each day, the current number of “infected” grows based on the spread rate and the share of the population that is still susceptible (not yet infected and not resistant). As more of the population becomes infected, growth naturally slows because there are fewer new people left to infect, similar to how real outbreaks plateau.
This tool is purely for entertainment and general educational illustration of exponential and logistic growth concepts. It has no connection to real disease modeling, public health guidance, or actual events.
