What is TTM?

Trailing Twelve Months (TTM) is a rolling twelve-month figure used in financial analysis to represent the most recent full year of performance, updated with each new reporting period rather than waiting for a full annual report.

The formula

TTM = Last Full Fiscal Year Total − Same Period Last Year (YTD) + Current Year-to-Date. This effectively swaps out the oldest partial-year period for the most recent one, keeping the twelve-month window current.
