🎟️ Lottery Calculator
Work out the exact odds of matching every number in a lottery draw, based on the size of the number pool and how many numbers are drawn.
How lottery odds are calculated
Most lottery jackpots require matching every number drawn from a fixed pool, sometimes plus a separate bonus ball drawn from its own pool. The number of ways to choose k numbers from a pool of n is given by the combination formula C(n,k), and if there’s a bonus ball, the total number of possible combinations is multiplied by the size of the bonus pool.
How this calculator works
Enter the size of the main number pool, how many numbers are drawn from it, and the size of the bonus pool (enter 0 if your lottery has no separate bonus ball). The calculator computes the total number of possible combinations, which is also your odds of winning the jackpot with a single random ticket, and shows how buying multiple tickets changes your overall probability.
These odds assume every combination is drawn at random with equal likelihood. This tool is for general informational and educational purposes — it does not improve your actual chances of winning.
