🔢 Mean, Median & Mode Calculator
Enter your data values below (leave extra boxes blank if you have fewer than 10) to find the mean, median, mode, and range in one step.
Mean, median, and mode explained
These are the three most common ways to describe the ‘center’ of a data set. The mean is the arithmetic average (sum divided by count). The median is the middle value once the numbers are sorted (or the average of the two middle values for an even count). The mode is the value that appears most often.
How this calculator works
Enter your numbers into the boxes (clear any you don’t need, up to 10 values). The calculator sorts your data to find the median, tallies how often each value repeats to find the mode, and sums everything to find the mean. It also reports the range, the gap between your largest and smallest value.
If no value repeats, there is no mode and the field will show ‘–‘. If two or more values tie for most frequent, the smallest of those tied values is shown. This tool is intended for general educational purposes.
