What implantation is

Implantation is when a fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus. It typically happens six to twelve days after ovulation, with day nine after ovulation being the most common timing reported in research on early pregnancy.

How this calculator works

Enter the first day of your last period along with your average cycle length and luteal phase length (the number of days between ovulation and your next period, usually around 14 days). The calculator first estimates your ovulation date, then adds six to twelve days to project a likely implantation window.

Every cycle varies, and not every fertilized egg implants successfully, so these dates are estimates rather than guarantees. This tool is intended for general educational and planning purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice.
