How the GMAT Focus Edition is scored

The GMAT Focus Edition scores each of its three sections, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights, on a scale of 60 to 90. These three section scores are combined by the testing organization’s proprietary algorithm into a single Total Score ranging from 205 to 805, rounded to the nearest 10 points.

How this calculator works

Since the official combination algorithm is not fully public, this calculator uses a linear approximation: it averages your three section scores, maps that average proportionally from the 60-90 section scale onto the 205-805 total scale, and rounds to the nearest 10, matching how official scores are always reported.

This is an estimate for general study planning only and will not exactly match your official score, since the real scoring model may weight sections and score combinations non-linearly. Refer to your official GMAT score report for your actual result.
